@ReaperII7 @JackTipGuin @JackL4mb @TiradeYT @Rothmus If we assume those premises as true, then yes, increasing the marginal cost of each vehicle by $13 for a huge increase in safety seems like the obvious correct choice. I'm curious where that number comes from and what the reasoning/data is to support the assumed safety increase.

@JackTipGuin @JackL4mb @TiradeYT @greyRoadrunner @Rothmus unless you are one of the people who die before this news gets out. Of course a company can't spend unlimited dollars on a product to cover every base, but they can increase the price of a car by 13 dollars which wouldn't affect sales. Common sense needs to be employed

@greyRoadrunner @JackL4mb @Rothmus The real problem is that they knew people would be killed but decided it was more profitable to let them die & pay any fines than to fix the problem That’s manslaughter You’re literally arguing manslaughter should be ok if it’s profitable

@Rothmus Pure sophistry from Friedman. $13 extra cost per car would not bankrupt the company, $1b would. So these are qualitatively different situations in economic terms. He throws up this smokescreen to disguise his immoral preference for even marginal profits over human life.

I have seen in my lifetime, with my own eyes, the states of CO, HI, NM, AZ, and soon to be UT fall to liberalism. Complete wastelands compared to how they were just 10 years ago. I believe as a country we are in multisystem organ failure, propped up only by the remaining tiny minority of people that actually do anything. Move somewhere with water that grows its own food, or die. I believe it will be that simple in the coming years.

Thing that's lost in all of this bickering is not only did we build the world's greatest hammer during the Cold War but we crafted the world's greatest scalpel during the GWOT. Nothing is beyond our reach if we allocate resources correctly and orient ourselves towards the Truth.

Cartels are operating on almost every rez in the western US. Seeing as there's a few with people groups that cross international borders it was always going to be an obvious play. Serious issue that needs to be addressed soon.

MONTANA TRIBE OVERWHELMED WITH MEXICAN CARTELS -- Tribal leaders in Montana issued an urgent plea to Congress, saying they are overwhelmed and outmatched as Mexican drug cartels exploit jurisdictional loopholes to embed themselves on Native American reservations with devastating effects. Jeffrey Stiffarm, president of the Fort Belknap Indian Community, testified that the Sinaloa Cartel operates with near impunity in his region, capitalizing on chronic underfunding of law enforcement on the 652,000-acre reservation patrolled by just nine officers. “We are fighting a losing battle. The cartels are winning, the drug dealers are winning,” Stiffarm told Congress. “We are left alone to fight this battle against them.” Stiffarm told “NewsNation Prime” that up to hundreds of thousands of cartel operatives have infiltrated reservations across the American West, using the isolated lands as havens to traffic fentanyl pills and other drugs into the United States without scrutiny from federal authorities. “They know we’re short-staffed, underfunded, under-trained and outnumbered,” said Stiffarm, a former law enforcement officer for two decades. “They’re preying on our people, our children, our women. They get a foothold in and they’re here.” The Fort Belknap leader described cartel tactics like staging fake emergencies to divert the limited police presence, then quickly shuttling narcotics across other parts of the reservation undercover. But the devastation transcends drug running, as cartel operatives deeply embed themselves in tribal communities grappling with 70% unemployment rates and that are hours from urban centers. Stiffarm said rapes and murders committed by cartels have become tragically commonplace. Link to articles below 👇

As disgusting as these politicians are; remember our fellow citizens find it good and prudent to cast their votes for them. America is under judgment and needs the gospel of Christ. We're unable to think and make sound decisions and vote towards our own destruction. It reveals a corrupt soul.

🧾 Receipts: Ilhan Omar’s original last name was Elmi before it was changed. This evidence was available, but the Obama Justice Department refused to investigate. Her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, and their father, Nur Said Elmi (also known as Nur Omar), used multiple names across different countries. Part of the family fled to the United Kingdom, while Ilhan Omar and others entered the United States under their father’s assumed name, “Omar.” These name changes and split identities were used to conceal the father’s true war crimes and identity. A 🧵 in which I debunk the left’s lie about illegal aliens and crime. nbcnews.com/politics/2024-… This article from NBC News is a shining example of their deception and ignorance, beginning with the headline:   “Trump's claims of a migrant crime wave are not supported by national data.”   This is an egregious claim considering the very same NBC article contradicts the headline by adding “National crime data, especially pertaining to undocumented immigrants, is notoriously incomplete. The data is incomplete on how many crimes each year are committed by migrants, primarily because most local police don’t record immigration status when they make arrests.”   The article makes this claim:   “But the studies that have been done on this, most recently by the University of Wisconsin-Madison, show that in Texas, where police do record immigration status, migrants commit fewer crimes per capita.”   There are two glaring problems imbedded in this claim:   1) It implies there are no studies that arrive at the opposite conclusion. 2) Unlike other crimes, offenses committed by illegal aliensare preventable through border security, therefore the total number of crimes is the relevant metric, not the per capita crime rate of illegals.   Let’s explore both points in greater detail.   University of Wisconsin-Madison Study:   The University of Wisconsin-Madison study NBC references was conducted using data from the Texas Department of Public Safety (TDPS). On its website, the TDPS states that between June 1, 2011 and January 31, 2024, illegal aliens in Texas were convicted of “468 homicide convictions; 23,491 assault convictions; 4,667 burglary convictions; 25,107 drug convictions; 329 kidnapping convictions; 9,679 theft convictions; 15,718 obstructing police convictions; 1,634 robbery convictions; 3,059 sexual assault convictions; 3,411 sexual offense convictions; and 2,033 weapon convictions.”   Additionally, there were another 10,744 illegal aliens whose immigration status was unknown at the time of their arrest, resulting in another “104 homicide convictions; 743 assault convictions; 360 burglary convictions; 992 drug convictions; 30 kidnapping convictions; 257 theft convictions; 408 obstructing police convictions; 290 robbery convictions; 607 sexual assault convictions; 282 sexual offense convictions; and 97 weapon convictions.”   The crimes that comprise the data set used for the study exclude all federal criminal charges, as the TDPS acknowledges that it does not incorporate those crimes in their numbers – a critical factor considering that according to the Justice Department, 49 percent of persons criminally charged in the federal court systemin 2018 were non-U.S. citizens. The TDPS figures also omit crimes committed by these illegal aliens in other states, and the TDPS further notes that “activity for individuals identified as illegal while in prison is underrepresented for this time period because they may have been incarcerated during the time frame used in this report.”   In other words, between 2012 and 2018 – the period captured in the study – the illegal aliens included in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Study likely committed thousands of crimes that aren’t represented in the data (this undercounting only intensifies in sanctuary states, as noted in the study on pages one and two). Two things should be obvious now – illegal immigration causes a dramatic increase in crime, and because of data limitations, we don’t know the full extent of the collateral damage – even in Texas – the state used for this study.

This is a severely underestimated fulcrum point in American history. During the nineties there was a great societal upheaval over mass migration. California voters, in the face of an onslaught of media demonization, acted to save their state by passing Prop 187 to end all public benefits for illegals. It was one of the most potent examples of popular democracy defeating entrenched corruption. It captivated the attention of the entire nation. Millions and millions of Californians voted to recapture their destiny. The proposition passed in a landslide. It was enjoined by a District Court judge IMMEDIATELY and remained enjoined permanently. Illegals continued flooding the state, consuming benefits, a Democrat (Gray Davis) won the next election and entered into a court settlement to halt the law forever.
bumbadum@bumbadum14

Your reminder that 60% of Californians voted to strip illegals of taxpayer funded programs and a judge said no.
