@theliamnissan How do ppl think cults happen? It's not just made of ppl with low IQ. It's fed to you slowly and consistently until your 'normal' is different. Pretending you cannot be fooled is dumb.
[Except yea there's also dumb folks who believe anything so they can hate the other side too]

@LordKasim47 @MylesEhrlich This is such an underrated comment! My feelings exactly
English

@MylesEhrlich That was more disappointing to see than their poor performance
English

@IamHeartbreak_ except the movie wouldn't have them in black vs white jerseys cos that would seem like a step too far 😅😅

This South Carolina vs UConn game reminds me of one those games where the Undefeated Team from the Burbs goes against a Hungry team from the Hood.
Everybody has a plan until you get punched in the mouth. #ncaafinal4 #espn

At first glance this looks like a daytime photo- but it’s not.
I don’t think we’ve ever seen Earth at night photographed quite like this. Historic.
NASA@NASA
We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.

Disney employed 2,200 animators who made Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Tarzan. By 2013, nearly all of them were gone. Fired. The people who built Disney’s legacy were shown the door because executives thought the problem was 2D animation. It wasn’t. It was bad storytelling.
cinesthetic.@TheCinesthetic
At what point did Disney think it was a good idea to stop making animation this incredible?

@WNBAStormChaser Sandy wouldn't hesitate. Ezi blocking defending machine run outta space in seattle last season. The season before she showed what she could do...

@DoorenspleetR Forcing a kid to wear a mask is psychologically damaging them and installing a false fear/phobia that breathing fresh air is bad for you
English

@rainc0llector @NASA I thought a moment like this would reach me as news PRIOR to the event but it did not cut thru to me at all. I’m shocked. So I missed the live launch etc. my social media here does not include space related stuff even tho it is an interest of mine. Algorithms be nuts, makes me sad

artemis II is the most important mission NASA has launched in decades and it's barely getting mainstream attention. context: the last time humans left low earth orbit was apollo 17 in december 1972. that's 53 years ago. an entire generation was born, grew up, and had children without seeing a human travel beyond earth's immediate neighborhood. the cost comparison is wild too — apollo program cost $280 billion in today's dollars for 6 landings. artemis aims to establish permanent presence for roughly $93 billion. the economics of space exploration have fundamentally shifted and most people don't realize we're living through a new space age right now

“As NASA launches a crewed Moon mission, Australia is once again playing a critical role”
A great piece by my colleague Tristan Moss on Australian contributions to space exploration and development.

@BaseddGhost @foundingdaughtr @mrschapter @MarleneFra13597 @Zoya_ki_batein Depends what you are comparing it to @BaseddGhost "Women being murdered is also extremely rare—since we’re speaking statistically." IPV 'a leading contributor to death and disability for women aged 18–44 often exceeding risks like smoking or obesity' You on the wrong side, sorry

gabby petito is proof that society doesn't believe women until they're dead.

The only thing crazy is that this trope is still working
