🇩🇪 Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has defended Nick Woltemade's goal record recently:
Nagelsmann: "He has often played very deep [at Newcastle]. When he has to defend as a No.6, there's a long distance to goal.
He's not a counter-attacking striker who runs 36 km/h. I can promise that he won’t be 80 metres away from goal with us."

Some people carry a rare kind of courage , the kind that refuses to bend, refuses to whisper when truth must be shouted. They are bold, fearless, and anchored in conviction, and history is always shaped by such individuals.
That’s why voices like Leye and the Take It Back Movement @TIBmovement in London matter. They are not just protesting; they are asserting that distance does not dilute responsibility, and exile does not silence conscience.

🇦🇷🗣️ Marcelo Bielsa back in 2024: "I am sure that football is in a process of decline. It is becoming less and less attractive because what made it the best game in the world is not there anymore."
"If you let a lot of people watch football, but you don't protect the pleasure of what they watch, that favours business, because the business is that a lot of people watch football."
"For me, the introduction of technology (like VAR) does a lot of harm to football. This sport has a particularity: when it becomes completely predictable, it loses its appeal."
"As time passes, as fewer and fewer footballers are worth watching and as the game produced is less and less enjoyable, this artificial increase in the number of spectators will be interrupted."
Do you agree with Marcelo? 😳

My mother did not even finish secondary school.
But I recall one night, she beat the hell out of me because I could not spell "school"
I was in primary school at the time.
I recall it was my neighbor friend called "Ozioma" that rescued me.
He saw me crying outside and taught me how to spell school.
That was how I was able to eat my dinner that night.
My father was not a university graduate.
But he was making public speeches and corrected us when we made blunders.
My late father gave scholarships to many young men and women who could not afford secondary or university education.
He did his best for us as his children.
But we followed our paths and made our choices.
My late father did not make the best decision in his marriage and his choice of a wife.
And he suffered for it till he died.
But my mother for the period she was with my father, played her role and made sure that she was felt.
My father never remarried for almost 30 years until his demise.
I saw my late father in tears and pains.
He needed a wife, but he was more concerned for our wellbeing and didn't want any woman to come in to maltreat us.
I recall one time, I asked him:
"Daddy, mummy has gone, don't you want to remarry?"
In his words:
"My son, I love you all, but learn from my mistakes. I don't want you to marry your wife, and divorce her. I have suffered too much because I am no longer with your mother. But she's still your mother"
My loving father died of heart attack at 72.
And my mother wasn't at his burial.
And that was my father's wish.
We honored it.
Now you know why I frown against divorce, and why I always praise my lovely wife.
I learned from my father's mistakes and God blessed me with a lovely wife.
End.
