In exciting news, Woodbine Community School District’s Jill Ridder has been selected for this year’s National Milken Educator Award for the state of Iowa. As principal at Woodbine Elementary School, Ridder was chosen for her outstanding leadership, one that has impacted student achievement and growth as well as the development of the school’s teachers and staff. The 2025-26 Milken Educator Award provides Ridder with a $25,000 prize and the opportunity to join more than 3,000 educators from across the nation who have been honored with the award over the past 40 years.
