So why wasn't he charged with destruction of government property then? This sure looks like him. But that's not a crime that earns someone the death penalty, is it?
What this film most likely reveals is that ICE *targeted* him in an act of fatal revenge because he broke their tail light. And that makes ICE a bunch of rogue vigilantes who target citizens for execution. Now we know why one of the ICE agents was clapping in celebration after they shot him.

Hot take: In 50 years we will have massive studies linking right wing ideological inconsistency with literal physical mental disability. And no, this is not just me calling them R words in a nice way - I genuinely believe that a vast number of Americans don't have the mental faculties required for adult level critical thought - wether it is genetic, environmental or something third - we'll know eventually. This goes past the classic philosophical argument that "we are formed by our environment" - while the vast majority are subjects shaped by the society they grew up in (material conditions etc.) there is a sub strata of cretins so profoundly inconsistent that one must recognise their failings as more biological than political.

I've been researching Jimmy Carter a lot for absolutely no reason and man did that guy try. He laid foundations for renewable energy a bit for the environment but specifically to diversify the country’s energy sources to avoid foreign oil reliance during international volatility
