@robertrioux @autodesk It does look like you still got Blender running and the render on in the viewport when you open the file in Maya and try to also render on the GPU. Never used Maya but that might be why its so unresponsive?

I was just testing some USD things in both #Maya and #b3d. You would think that @autodesk would do better considering the insane amount of money they make on Maya (while Blender survives on a 2 M$ budget per year).

@Motionworks X-particles, trying embergen here and there and smaller things C4D emitters are ok as well. Every time I get back into Particular it seems slower than the time before.

#Particles | I'd really love to know what solution you use for particle creation and why you use it.

To follow up: By memory I duplicated the bend deformer and added it under the emitter. That solved the problem.

Have a problem to solve: Using an object as an emitter that is animated with a bend deformer. Xparticles seem to hang a frame behind the animation. Moving xparticles in the object manager to the bottom has not solved it. Any ideas? #c4d #xparticles

@ecovacsrobotics Room diving and editing the map is painful. My vacuum is good but the app and map is quite bad unfortunately. I could not recommend this to anyone.

@grischatheissen @Sudo_Dr @guillnoe Unfortunately, we do not have plans to provide Australian numbers into the app at this time. There is a limited supply of AU phone numbers and the cost for purchasing those phone numbers is much higher than our other currently supported numbers.

@guillnoe @mysudoapp In about 6 weeks we'll have MySudo in the Australian AppStore with Australian numbers. We are doing some testing at the moment with these numbers. The numbers allow for calling and SMS.

@edbrown3d I am currently on the Studio Driver 512.96 (probably a year old) Redshift hasn't been updated for a little while...

@grischatheissen Which driver are you on? And how do you avoid upgrading if you want to use the latest version of Redshift?

What is the current situation with the nvidia drivers and #c4d and #aftereffects I heard a lot of people having issues. Is that still the case?

@grischatheissen my built is 10k+ but when on c4d i have to act like i'm on my grandmas 10 year old samsung ipad now.

@edbrown3d That sounds like I do not want to upgrade the driver for the moment. The one I am using atm is not too bad but I can tell when they fight over the gpu resources. 🧐

@grischatheissen Yes for me. RS is the slowest it has ever been and you can’t use AE simultaneously (you risk nvidia kernel crashes having any GPU accelerated Adobe app open with Redshift)
