The best “due diligence” for a seed/pre-seed round doesn’t involve financial models, data rooms, or 60 days of follow up meetings & board reviews. It involves having real conversations with real people. One human perspective is worth 1 million spreadsheet cells.

@groudenko most founders hide behind models because if the numbers are wrong, they can blame the spreadsheet. but a real conversation with someone who's built it? that's on you, no safety net

Sort of a different take on this question; since most takes I’ve seen recently support red: Everyone picking blue and everyone picking red have the exact same outcome. However, if even one person picks blue everyone on the red side is selfishly allowing them to die. Taking the reverse, if most people pick blue and some pick red, everyone lives. The main insight of this question is that it reveals the way our minds view the key traits of altruism & selfishness.
Tim Urban@waitbutwhy

Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

I just built this for my grandma. Meet Sam, the first AI caretaker for seniors. Order one of the first 1,000 units (see below).

Earth is the only planet with a natural satellite that is so large and so close to it. It’s almost like the moon was placed there for us to use it as a training ground to explore the rest of the solar system. I’m glad that we’re finally taking that opportunity seriously
