After the announcements that political heavyweight Michael Laws, & popular libertarian Paul Henry are running in the upcoming election, the Greens have announced that Shaneel Lal will be running for them.

🚨 BREAKING:
🇺🇸President Trump says the United States has spent billions protecting the Strait of Hormuz, and has called on the Gulf nations to reimburse America for the cost.
🇷🇺Responding to the remarks, Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly said, We never asked the United States to go to war with Iran, nor did we ask it to secure the Strait of Hormuz. Therefore, we will not pay America a single penny.
@2ETEKA Why is the river of filth list mp still in my country?? Unelected and unfortunately receiving my tax dollars?$14000 plus expenses! As we speed run to our utter destruction by outside influences!! Remigration is the only true path for NZers who want our beautiful country for us.
@2ETEKA Act the party of free speech Not when foreign nationals are uncomfortable with speech, that doesn't aline with their tribal feudsTired and even more tired by our parliament being sabotaged by immigrants who have no interest in NZ issues, only the policy regarding their own. MNZGA
This is mind-boggling! From this Stuff article, we get 4 different interpretations about what the India FTA requires of NZ from Modi and the 3 NZ political parties who are supporting it. What the hell does it actually say? No one seems to know!
Trade Minister Todd McLay: "The provision “doesn’t require us to invest in India. It requires us to promote investment”.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi: " New Zealand had “committed to invest $20 billion in India over the next 15 years”.
David Seymour: " We have committed to promote it, and you might say that’s a commitment. But at the end of the day, if you read the black letter of the agreement, so long as we do our job promoting investment, then we’re fine.”
Chris Hipkins: "“The New Zealand Government claims it is just an aspirational target and all New Zealand needs to do to meet it is to promote investment in India, whereas the Indian Government is presenting it very much as a concrete commitment. If that’s the case, that is very challenging for New Zealand because it is highly unlikely that we will come anywhere close to meeting that goal.”

You know what makes me different from most people trying to get into Parliament?
I’m actually a construction worker, and I know how to operate this machine.
I’ve worked from the ground up. I know what it means to start early, work in the mud, solve problems, carry responsibility and get the job done.
I haven’t spent my life talking about productivity.
I’ve lived it.
That’s why I back this policy. I want to get New Zealand productive again.
For too long, Wellington has treated the regions like a cash machine, taking the royalties and revenue while local communities are left with worn-out roads, struggling infrastructure and fewer opportunities.
New Zealand First will return 50% of mining royalties directly to the regions where that wealth is created.
We will mine responsibly, build infrastructure, create high-paying Kiwi jobs, grow exports and strengthen our economy.
A country does not become prosperous by shutting down industry, burying projects in red tape and importing everything from overseas.
It becomes prosperous by backing the people who build, mine, manufacture, farm and produce.
The regions do the work.
The regions create the wealth.
The regions should benefit.
Let’s get New Zealand productive again.
Me rongo,
Billy Brown

It’s not racist to call out a bad deal. Everyday Kiwis are standing up, and New Zealand First is going to back them.because this so-called free trade deal is a bad deal. It’s as simple as that.
