@mamagenevieve I live by the rule “don’t wake a sleeping baby” 😂 the only times I’ve ever woken Abby were when she had weight gain issues and I had to make sure she was feeding every 3 hours max

@mamagenevieve i was about 4 weeks postpartum before i felt comfortable trying to drive again but i also wasn’t allowed to drive for the last 2 months of my pregnancy because of my severe preeclampsia so i hadn’t driven in 3 months at that point

Taking Teddy for his 1 year appointment today. I feel like this boy grows EVERY day. Can’t wait to see my big boy’s stats

@MakingbbySquids The main thing though is to give yourself some grace and patience. The to-do list will feel long and it's hard to get things done but the main thing right now is keeping yourself and baby alive and cared for. It goes by so fast, so take all the time you need!!

@MakingbbySquids Having easy go-to snacks (especially if you're nursing) is so important because making time for cooking and prep is challenging with a baby. My usual is whole grain crackers and hummus.
