There is a discord active 24/7 players can go and get answers for any question. Phenom is by far the most user-friendly site, which people that actually play there know.
Most of the people complaining here on twitter don't play on Phenom. Players that do realize it's a well-designed site that actually cares about its players.
Everyone on twitter should hope Phenom works out. It might not, businesses fail all the time. IMO poker would lose out if so. First and foremost, just for having a great player-friendly place to play.
But also how about this:
Take Site A & Site B.
Site A is like every other online site, and distributes zero % of the total rake back to the players.
Site B distributes 50% of the total revenue earned through rake back to the token holders - that players earn playing on the site, and that more and more players accumulate over time.
both have 0.2% marketshare.
In World X, Site A grows over 10 years to take 30% market share and is a leader.
In World Y, Site B grows over 10 years to take 30% market share and is a leader.
In which world do you think more poker players get wealthy? In which world does more money stay inside the poker community?
