The MMO division, of SE (FF14, FF11, and DQ) in 2025 made around 54% of SE's profits, most of that driven by FF14
Endwalker made around 60%+ of company's operating profit between 2021-2022
If FF14 folds, SE is not far behind.

It operates autonomously and is still travelling about the ninth shard, which leads you to encountering it in XIV’s version of Treno.

Today in RPG history... Liquid and Sony released Pocket Dungeon for PS1 on May 4, 1999. Remember PocketStation, that JP-only device that FFVIII didn't get in NA with the chocobo minigame? This dungeon crawler was designed specifically for it, with a PS1 disc for data transfer.
