An even bigger grievance, to which riders objected, is the Governor's MTA reorganization plan. His proposal would make sweeping changes to how the MTA runs. The plan, announced last Friday, July 19th, will be voted on this Wednesday, giving little time to even read it.

At the meeting, the Committee approved $17 Million to be spent on rebuilding projects with little time and consideration. Today's spending shows how much money the Committee doles out at the blink of an eye.
