Solidity sure loves features that mildly obfuscate control flow (modifiers, overloading, return variables, multiple inheritance, "using for"), which is a funny design philosophy for a smart contract language

@badcryptobitch Yeah talking about net makes a ton more sense. But to your original point, how is not owning a business also a scam? Corporate tax though often lower than income tax leads to a similar situation.

@gtklocker I know you guys have it worst but I genuinely wonder why we talk about people make $100K+ per year but really it's significantly less unless they live in Texas.

Being an employee really is a scam. Imagine being paid like $100K per year on paper but you only get like 70% of that per year. Where does the rest of the money go? Also, why doesn't anyone talk about after tax income/salary?

@gakonst Swiftkey is discontinued so don't expect this to be fixed. I'm using Gboard as a workaround.

Anybody figured out a workaround for this on SwiftKey? Or alternative keyboard that's not the default Apple one that's actually good?

@_prestwich Try Gboard, though it's not that much better. Swiftkey was pretty sweet but MS bought it and killed it.

switched to iphone after 4ish years. most of the interactions are way better, but typing is so much worse. the swipe and predictive engines are absolute junk compared to the pixel's default keyboard how do you people live like this?

@badcryptobitch you can build a reliable watching service. i.e., issue a signal transaction that can collect a bounty and the MEV bots will guarantee it is mined asap. rainbow bridge basically did this

@gakonst Yes. It's the only reasonable way to get many raw blocks out of RPC if you can't access the leveldb directly. However it's tricky because the response can't be arbitrarily long so you need to guess how many queries to batch together 😮‍💨
