We’re 29th in Runs, xwOBA, xBA, ISO, wRC, and DEAD LAST in OPS, BA, SLG, xSLG, Hard Hit%, EV90, and wOBA.
We have similar rankings since 2021.

Zack Meisel of The Athletic believes young Guardians catcher Cooper Ingle could be a trade candidate, suggesting a fresh start with another organization may provide him a better path to regular playing time behind the plate.
"Poor Cooper. You made defensive strides at catcher. Then the Guardians went and traded for Patrick Bailey, and Austin Hedges decided to thrive at the plate for the first time in a dozen seasons, so you started playing left field and you were promoted to the majors soon after and it wasn’t pretty and you were sent back to Triple A. It might be better for everyone if you head somewhere new, somewhere you can catch."

Travis Bazzana urged the Guardians to stay confident, emphasizing better preparation, sharper execution, and improving each at-bat as the keys to turning things around.
"We’ve just got to execute a plan and prepare as best we can," Bazzana said. “It’s a long season and these have been tough, tough battles, especially against some good arms. We have to prepare with the same confidence every day, take a look in the mirror and see how you can get your at-bats better."

I think this has been easily the most lopsided series of the year. Game 1: 11-1 in the 9th Game 2: shutout Game 3: lookin like a shutout That sweep in Miami had to be a different team. That was the 2024 Guardians doing us a favor.
