Doubtful, american cops have their hands full 24/7 with all the crime. Its well known that criminals only get worse unless they're imprisoned and willingly undergo reform-behavior IN prison, they scale their crimes up and up until they start killing people. Also anyone who ignores police orders and tries to run from them is the worst sort of person by default unless there's an incredibly good reason, which there almost never is.

A 17‑year‑old was eating in a McDonald’s parking lot when an officer opened his car door and shot him 4 times. The officer was fired and charged. The teen was left on life support. underwent multiple surgeries, and developed complications like pneumonia.
