It's super weird how Microsoft made a deal to bring Cod to Nintendo systems in 2023 and we've still not seen a single game on Switch 1/2. If MW4 is the first game to do so and I missed the chance to play BO6/7 portably I'm gonna be pissed. Bring any zombies game, I'm not picky.

@froaklies @seapicklereal if you already have a decent PC/console and just wanted something portable for any older games like BO3 i think the base Steam Deck is more than good enough if you want a powerhouse for a handheld yea maybe wait on the steam deck 2 or get a ROG ally

@froaklies @seapicklereal imo it depends on what you want out of it; for me i like it to play indie games/older games. i have a HTPC running Bazzite for newer AAA story games and then my PC for anything comp for me personally the power output the Steam Deck offers is more than enough for what I do on it

@seapicklereal @froaklies yea so cooked, wouldn’t be surprised if they’re winding down production on them to focus on the upcoming hardware. i got my OLED 512GB for $450 off of marketplace last summer, probably becoming rarer to find one but if you keep an eye out you could probably find a good deal

GTA 6 is delaying PC, because... Look at the GTA Online revenues below. The gap between console and PC earnings is INSANE. PC players can easily bypass the Shark Card economy. They can use mods or play in unofficial roleplay servers like FiveM. But on Playstation and Xbox, you're locked into official servers where the only way up is to grind or pay. Rockstar is delaying the PC release to protect the launch economy of GTA Online 2.0 They're forcing the entire player base onto consoles for the first 12-18 months, and trapping their biggest whales in a closed ecosystem where microtransactions can't be bypassed. It guarantees them the maximum bag during the peak hype window. Plus, Rockstar acquired FiveM team back in 2023. The delay buys them time to figure out how to officially monetize the PC modding scene before they open the floodgates. What percentage of PC gamers do you think will get a console just to play GTA 6 at launch?

@BobNetworkUK no that’s genuinely one of biggest complaints with this game i cannot stomach any of the iron sights they’re all so awful i think this was an issue last year and perhaps even a bit with MWIII, it seems in the modern era of COD they’re forgotten how to develop good iron sights

@nova_935 honestly the round requirement is what deters me from wanting to do the relics. it’s a nuisance to put so much time into hitting a certain round just to have the relic bug out on you. in the future they axe the round requirement (even jf its at the end of the game’s lifecycle)

Imo this is why we don’t need a relic round requirement or for them to be so high… THIS is the cool shit I love about them Someone not even hunting that a lot of us are familiar with in the community stumbles upon the first relic and get people diving into it. Love this stuff!!

@imjohey i will say, though I’ve fallen out of love with it, I feel like WZ’s mechanics are what made it stand apart from other BRs. Blackout always felt just kind of like a PUBG clone to me, never much cared for it. that was almost a decade ago though; Im excited to give it another shot
