@MattMcDonald013 @Oscarthefarmer @WSBDistributors Had the same problem. Mixed the coolant/engine oil 3000 hours. Crankcase breather alarm started going off around 4700 hours engine rebuilt. Caseih apparently have no issues with the Iveco engine. Purchased 16

@MichellePye7 @JohnDeereAUNZ From what I understand,the 6 series are pretty poor but the 8 & 9 series are solid machines. Have you considered Case or New Holland,or Massey/Valtra? The new generation cabs from CNH are on point,Valtra have all sorts of options,plenty of people have good runs out of all brands.

We’ve been @JohnDeereAUNZ green since the beginning of time. However with a 42% increase on the price of an 8R series since our last one 18 months ago we’re seriously looking at a lighter shade of green. Has anyone done the same and regretted it?

@CaseIHAus Reliability over technology everyday. You have mistaken this with the magnum range. The technology isn’t much use when the tractor needs the air cleaner blown out, hydraulic hoses repaired, hydraulic fittings needing orings. Much prefer a 335 magnum to the new 340 afs

@JohnOehlerking1 @TheChadColby @Case_IH Have a 2016 340 magnum in getting an engine rebuild due warped rings. Picked up new 340 last week. Mechanic out 3 times without 50 hours on the clock. 200 litres of hytran later but going. Found king pin cap bolt about to fall out, so checked the other two only finger tight

@TheChadColby @Case_IH NIce looking, but maybe they should put the extra money into building tractors that don't require transmission splits due to soft bolts, or engine overhauls due to sub standard o rings, or possibly producing wiring harnesses that have been on backorder since November 2021!!
