After 16 days stuck at home during the flood im finally out, ive driven through at least 20km of water to get to my ute on the gravel at cryon. Collarenebri to cryon rd is the main access, will be months before we get a ute in

@CottonEyeAndy We are currently upgrading our fuel storage to comply with our relative legislation in regards to our transport operation. More chasing ideas on transfer equipment etc.

@jacobmoonrocks Start by reviewing the relevant legislation around on farm storage. That way if if you ever get involved with a BMP program you’ll already comply.

Hi all, chasing some ideas with on farm diesel. I’ve recently purchased another tank and will have this tank and another 16,000 litre tank with a AdBlue shuttle in a shed in the centre, wondering about transfer pumps and just general ideas cheers

@jacobmoonrocks Voltage drop would be causing it on start up I’d say battery’s old ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a Murphy switch on a pump that immediately trips when starting the pump. I have renewed all the earths and put a brand new Murphy on. Any one with any advice would be greatly appreciated doing my head in well and truly.

@jakeonfarm Yep that’s a requirement on all so as soon as you build oil pressure it immediately cuts out. Thanks anyway mate!

@jacobmoonrocks Murphy on our large air compressor, admittedly different motor, requires ignition to be held on after start until oil pressure is achieved to over-ride said Murphy. Not sure how your starter will handle that though.
