I haven’t been very active in the past 2–3 days, but this is what I’m going to address.
I’ve been working full-time in Web3 since 2019. I’ve done GTM for multiple protocols and big entities in the space, and I know everyone from founders to KOLs to moderators, etc. On @Incentiv_net, over the past year, I was introduced to the concept and the vision, which I really liked, and I knew the contribution I could make based on my 7 years of experience building and advising protocols.
Before I joined, there were struggles with previous teams across foundation, marketing, development, etc. I made sure all of those were closed before I started implementing my GTM strategies, and all of those became a closed chapter, with all parties in harmony.
I started implementing my strategies for user acquisition and brand awareness when the project had somewhere below 20k followers, I guess. We went to 200k+ followers and community members within 2 days. Out of envy and hate, we received organized FUD with no facts, based on nothing but speculation.
No, I’m not affiliated with any other project (I am @Incentiv_net), and the Incentiv team has no previous experiences like the ones we were accused of. Engagement farmers were calling us a scam, even just 2 days before Testnet V1, which means they never even did any research about Incentiv. We launched Testnet V1, then Testnet V2 with an upgraded consensus, and then Mainnet with PoW consensus and native AAA. But until now, where did we scam? Does shipping mean scamming?
On Mainnet, we gave away over $200K in rewards because of the gamification layer in the Incentiv ecosystem, through Mystery Boxes, Incentiv+ Cashback, and weekly prize pools. Maybe in a parallel universe that’s scamming, who knows.
Now this is the last time I mention this, because the struggle I’ve been going through while trying to make things right has been crazy.
I suggest that anyone with doubts should do their own research and see how, regardless of the baseless ongoing FUD, we still built and shipped a full protocol and multiple native dApps. This is the team I would bet on.
I assure everyone that my priority is to protect the interests of the community from bad actors, and I don’t give a single fuck if those bad actors are future team members, dApps endorsed by Incentiv+, or KOLs who like farming. I don’t do politics, I’m a self-made, successful dude, and in my world justice needs to be served at all times. It will be.
