Maybe I should run for Mayor. Because as Mayor of NYC, I would tear out EVERY single bike lane, from EVERY single street and avenue, in EVERY SINGLE BOROUGH. I would gut the Department of Transportation Alternatives. I'd fire EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of the DOT's brass, and sever EVERY tie with TransAlt, Riders Alliance, and StreetsPAC. AT MINIMUM.

If this passes, Republicans in office should set up an ‘underground railroad’ to facilitate unofficial back-channel communications between local law enforcement and federal authorities, because I know for a 100% fact our police want ICE to take an aggressive role in New York. I am personally in regular communication with ICE and would gladly help in any way possible. If Democrats are going to openly defy federal law, it’s incumbent upon us to do the same.

New Jersey realtor says her client has to pay a $185K transfer tax on a home they’re selling for $4 million. In simple terms, that $185K is the government’s “cut” for updating the public record to show who owns the property. If her client were moving out of state, they would also pay what’s often called the New Jersey Exit Tax. The state withholds 2% to make sure you don’t leave without paying any taxes due on the sale. New Jersey’s so-called “mansion tax” has also changed: the original 1% flat tax on homes over $1M has been replaced by a tiered system, paid by the seller, increasing by 0.5% for every additional $500K. As one observer rightly noted, that money could have remained in the hands of individuals, as a salary, a raise, or startup capital, to fuel real economic growth, create jobs, and build wealth from the bottom up. Instead, it’s seized through taxation and funneled through politicians and bureaucrats, who allocate it to social programs and pet projects with little accountability. History shows these initiatives are riddled with undetected waste, fraud, and inefficiency, often delivering minimal benefits to those they’re supposed to help while expanding government control.

Zohran Mamdani promises 5 city owned grocery stores will be open by 2029. The first store announced is going to be the last one to open and is called "La Marqueta," located in East Harlem, New York City. Zohran said it'll actually be 1 "or" 2 blocks from La Marqueta, (an existing market). Zohran claims they'll build from the ground up on an empty lot using $30M of the total $70M store budget for "La Marqueta." ITS UNDER A FREAKIN TRAIN!! A fuel leak here once caused a "garden market" below to engulf in flames in 2016. More problems include that 1 or 2 blocks away where the planned store is, there exists 1. on 116th street an existing building with brand new signs of the non-profit collaborating with the city on this project. (This building was just built in 2019 and appears to have been under construction since). and 2. An empty lot on 117th with too many columns for a store. (For that reason it's been an outdoor market from 2011-2023) and 3. On 118th the now fenced of lot was a junk yard / storage area since 2013 prior to that a parking lot. (Not a functional location for a building.) So where is this "La Marqueta" brand new "from the ground up" store going to be? On top of that my tour guide was wearing a bullet proof vest because he was once shot outside of a store here as criminals tried to kill the store owner. Even if a store magically pops up it will destroy local businesses and be very dangerous to access as it will likely attract homeless and drug addicts, many of whom have died in front of the preexisting building in the cold. IT basically sounds like a homeless shelter is about to open up in an already struggling neighborhood. Zohran should share the store plans if he expects income and property taxes to pay for it.

Since this @CitiBikeNYC station has only averaged 3 daily visits over the course of 3 years, shouldn’t it be removed? Why are pols asking taxpayers to subsidize this wasteful program?
