@DomDiTommaso They’ll be lucky to win 7 all year. They’re a direction less franchise

Maybe I'm being too optimistic (again), but right now I see the Steelers going undefeated in December and finishing 11-6 this season if Aaron Rodgers is their quarterback.

Tomorrow we leave for Disney World with Stella. She’s 2.5 years old. Any advice? It’s our first time going as a family.

Last year, the #Steelers caught the jet-lagged Cleveland #Browns after they returned from a trip to London. This year, it'll be the Browns who are benefitting from the Steelers being tired after they return from Paris in Week 8. steelersnow.com/steelers-2026-…

The Steelers could have hired a young coach and rebuilt an aging roster. Instead, they made moves that screamed "win now." With no fallback plan at QB, it's Aaron Rodgers or bust. Thus, they wait. My column, for @TheAthletic (Free Link ⬇️) nytimes.com/athletic/72718…

@ASaunders_PGH @AustinRBechtold What’s their plan? It’s been a hodgepodge since 2021. A disaster at about every turn. And they’re still in that same position today. Directionless.

McCarthy on the first two practices of #Steelers QB Drew Allar: "He's physically gifted thrower of the football, but he's no different than any other young quarterback that I've had the opportunity to work with. ... There's a lot of work there. We're able to adjust some fundamentals that we think will help him."

@gutter2grace @AustinRBechtold What you want them to do would be the malpractice. They don’t need to know what they have in Howard or Allar to know that a first round QB would 100% be the correct decision.

@ASaunders_PGH @AustinRBechtold According to many, Steelers wanted to take their next franchise qb this draft. They didn’t/couldnt. Now they’ll enter next years (should be loaded) draft and have no clue what they have in Will or drew because they were more concerned about being middle pack again. Malpractice

Rodgers skill set is still probably enough to keep the Steelers offense from bottoming out, but his risk-averse play style also prohibits them from reaching any ceiling worth pursuing. He had 193 dropbacks vs. playoff teams last season and generated -80.5 EPA. Steelers went 1-5.
NFL on ESPN@ESPNNFL

Aaron Rodgers is expected to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend and is likely to play for them this season, sources told @nflnetwork's @RapSheet. There is no agreement between the Steelers and Rodgers at this time, sources told ESPN.
