@mcneillb @RJAJohnson @ExnerPirot They have not made the decision because the acces to power for phase 2. BC wants them to use hydro power and there is no timeline to get that power. The other option would be to use gas to power the facility like phase 1 but there has been pushback. There is high market demand.

It can get off at Burnaby refinery or Sumas- for delivery to the Washington refineries. Also TMX ships refined products to the SU Burrard terminal. Also no pipeline flows at 100% utization

@RJAJohnson @ExnerPirot You can produce all the crude you want but that doesn't mean you're going to sell it, the crude market is demand driven. Exports out of Vancouver had 3 months of month over month decreases in exports. Even with the middle east blowing up, March exports aren't going great either.

@andrew_leach I think ATCO is one of the worst run companies in Alberta but some reason they seem to continually get catered too. If they are asking for money or threatening a lawsuit someone should look at closer at there issues as I am sure there is a much deeper story there.
