The human race is the master race on the planet and if people want that race to not just be sat licking windows then entertainment needs to be provided for good mental health. Of course we should provide horses with the absolute best care that we can, but even then horses will pass. Rome had the Coliseum, that was barbaric for humans and animals alike We once had the Grand National, which had been watered down from its once great test of jumping. Some horses die even in flat racing 🤷🏼♂️ are we going to the extreme of saying we can’t even run on the flat? Some like football others like golf people like to read some study for fun many like to walk, sometimes with pets If racing didn’t exist, there would be many thousands less horses in the world as we wouldn’t need as many. I wish people would find their own hobby and enjoy that, rather than spending their time trying to suck the fun out of other peoples hobbies!

✅Our racetracks and great festivals
✅The rights of people to go racing, or bet on it
✅The natural impulse of animals to run
✅The continuation of both species
Looking at these facts - should we not be on the offence against ignorance?
Or do you consider appeasement, so far, to be a success, or to be successful going forward? If you do, how do you imagine Cheltenham and Aintree can be made somehow less exacting, but still retain interest?

It’s a very good question. Obviously we should pay young folk with no experience, still learning on the job and gaining qualifications exactly the same, if not more, than someone fully qualified and with years of experience. I dunno why I didn’t think of that earlier.

How fast is Cortex 2 progressing at Giga Texas? Here is a 1-year comparison from two different angles of the construction site.
A year ago, just grade work and Marking the perimeter of the building was present.
One year later, the facility main structure is complete, ~130 Megapacks, 6 fan cooling plant (augmented with a temporary chiller system) installed, & interior assembly to allow operation of 1/2 of the datacenter to begin initial operation in April.
The second 1/2 buildout doubling the Megapacks, cooling systems & interior computer systems) will continue through the summer.

As a result of @HexhamRaces abandonment, no 4m chase today. The next meeting is 5 and a bumper. The 4m chase around Hexham is unique, invigorating and should be rescheduled for then. The only other 4m chase was abandoned in November.
