@Sergiomonty The P is green and the W is yellow, they could've chosen any other colors if it wasn't intentional. I think they just swapped the red and blue because the borders have been blue more often than not.

It's the tiniest of crumbs, but the POW Block on this Monty Mole's hat is actually specifically based on its classic Paper Mario design (albeit with the red and blue swapped). The first three Paper Mario games were the only time it was ever depicted with multicolored lettering.

Switch 2 needs a toggle to run unsupported Switch 1 games at docked mode when on handheld mode, because 720p stretched to fit a 1080p screen looks pretty bad. Would be great for less graphically demanding 3rd party games that probably aren't getting updated anytime soon.

I do worry they might go hard after this one because AC is an iterative series, and with enough backported features you could theoretically make this the "ultimate" AC game. But then again they hardly care to do much with AC whenever there isn't a new game, so maybe not lol.

In all seriousness I hope more people can finally understand what made the original title special through this. I know things like acre transitions and menu controls are hurdles to anyone used to later games. DX addresses these, but a PC port can do a lot more in the long run.

@Yangic0rn1 At most it might lead to more "non-canon" manga which would be fine, but not much else. Without an official English release BoC won't have influence outside of Japan. I know CoroCoro said it was in the works but I think they're intentionally dragging their feet at this point.

@guywiththepie I mean if BOC just does well then SEGA would actually pay attention to it. Meaning that we could get more of this kind of stuff right? Isn't that what happened with the shadow manga? The shadow was popular enough that we got BOC after it. I think there is more to it

@thebestsilver7 @ExellerLover But that's how SEGA sees it. Nothing from Blade of Courage will ever be in a game, the games' writing will never take inspiration from Blade of Courage, Yuki Imada will never be a prominent Sonic writer or have any control over its direction. Meanwhile IDW gets all that and more.

@ExellerLover This is about the Sonic brand definition of "canon", not the "Omg where is this in le timeline???" nerd definition. "Canon" to Sonic: Important, relevant to the brand, something to revisit "Non-canon" to Sonic: Worthless, not representative of the brand, something to forget

@Destructo_Dude I wouldn't even put it past them to come up with yet another plot that conveniently puts everyone in some isolated place from the rest of the world for the billionth time again. Anything to dodge making an explorable city with NPCs (Already done well 28 years ago btw) post-2008.

I for one can't wait for the next big mainline Sonic reveal to see his Forces model running Lost Worldly through a muted pastel animal village with no humans, promises of a story focusing on IDW characters, and the JP trailer having no dub so I can truly, finally let go for good.
