@duball97 It is incredibly hit or miss. I generally prefer it for brainstorming sessions/convos. Otherwise opus 4.6/5.3.

my #1 problem with ai coding is I never trust it to actually test stuff but today I got codex to build something, then asked it to record a video testing the UI to prove it worked it built a whole playwright script, recorded the video, and attached it to the PR the game changes every month now crazy times

Web3 gaming is dead as we once knew it In the past, most people joined to speculate and played only in hopes of making quick gains. Yes, there’s still some of that, but we’re starting to see a shift toward people who actually want to play purely for the gaming experience. This is great for the future sustainability and growth of crypto gaming. Exciting times ahead.

For a long time, I believed that if we built a game as good as our mainstream competitors, people would come across. That was wrong. We assumed that if the gameplay was good, ownership would be the cherry on top that made players switch. It wasn’t. To get someone to care about owning something, they first need to want it. And they need to want it for the right reasons. It’s fine if that reason is financial, but it has to mimic the psychology of collecting. The longer I hold this, the more valuable it becomes. Pokémon nailed that feeling. No one remembers the Pokémon saved on their Game Boy, but everyone remembers the cards sleeved in their attic. Blockchain gives us the tools to recreate that emotion online. But that doesn’t mean “make it an NFT” and people will care. You have to create a connection. And that takes content and experiences. It takes time, art, story, and lore. There’s no shortcut. That’s why no one has yet cracked the code. Everyone tried to build ownership first. But ownership only works when desire already exists. I still believe ownership can be the cherry on top. But you still need the cake. And the cake can’t taste like every other game out there. You need to build something unique. Because if your gameplay feels transient, no amount of tokenisation will save it. We’ve been consolidating for years, but a few of us are still building. If you’re one of the ones genuinely trying to create a standout hit, I’m rooting for you.

How do people not see the potential? How do you look at the capital accumulation on ETH and not make the logical leap- scale this to a virtual world? Why is barely anyone building something that even makes an attempt at this? Where is the disconnect?

it's crazy to think Ray Kurzweil's 1999 estimate that we'd have AGI by 2029 imagine it might end up being right. demis has also indicated that we still need about 5+ years and a few significant breakthroughs to reach that goal both of their timelines line up pretty closely

@gwapchain @oxbquant Do something hard together. Long camping trips (real camping), backpacking, triathlon or marathon training, etc. Even something as simple as lifting buddies will work, though you have to be serious about chasing PR's and stuff. Real adventures always involve suffering somehow.

It’s so easy to get radicalised. Especially if you’re above average intelligence and high in trait openness. You won’t even realise it. If you’re online a lot and getting angry, you’re probably already radicalised in ways you don’t even know. Frustrated further by the negative emotions you gather online and are unable to dispel. Worse still is that once you do clock it, you’ll manage to convince yourself being an angry radical is good. It’s not. There is no pride or virtue in a lack of emotional discipline. Most of those thoughts are not your own.
