@FilippoTarpini I’m just bummed there’s a grey haze over everything again. First level ir disappears when you’re inside a room so seems to be the the western effects. But then after that title screen again just lolks like black levels are raised. Sick of this. It’s the yellow filter of the 20s

Beyond achieving a filmic look, strong bloom can make bright objects feel more grounded in the scene, by softening hard edges, or even hiding aliasing. Something that AgX also tries to solve, but by lowering contrast instead. The downside is that it's all screen space, so when the camera turns, you easily see the bloom disappear, which can be jarring.

007 First Light has some crazy bloom! The radius and intensity might even be stronger than the Xbox 360 generation, or the average film, but its "smoothness" makes it nice to look at and strongly contributes to the heavily authored vibe. The tonemapping look is quite filmic but not to an annoying degree! HDR technical review upcoming!

@stasamsara I hate it. There are two Mark Waids at the moment. Worlds Finest and Jusitce League are Mark Waid doing silver age. Colours! High concept! And I just don’t like them. Then there is modern writer Mark Waid on things like Action comics and absolute power, and they’re brilliant.

$750 for a lifetime pass is pure insanity, especially for a program that won't let you access stuff on your own LAN if the internet goes out. This was a good program that let me stream my own local content. Nobody asked for all the streaming deals and outside content (and greed) that are driving this price increase. I don't even care that I'm grandfathered in having bought the pass years ago when it was reasonable. I'm moving to something else.
