Ralph is a loving and affectionate 5 year old F1 Red Cockapoo. He is available and looking for a new home without any children. Ralph would be best in a home with someone who is on their own or a couple with experience of the breed. He is very loving and likes attention. Ralph is chipped and neutered and vaccinated with no medical issues - he is very healthy and active. Ralph currently weighs around 16kg. He is fine in the car and is use to travelling a lot in the car. Ralph knows commands such as sit, down, up, come, stay, wait, heel, spin, drop it, place, into crate, leave it, paw, high five. He does pull on the lead initially but does tend to calm down once he has done the toilet. Ralph is great off the lead. He will walk beside you with command to heel and does like to stop and sniff around. Ralph can be left on his own if you need to go out for a maximum of 6 hours. He likes to sit by the window as he is often there on his owners return. Ralph sleeps in his bed at night in his owners room and does like a cuddle. He can be wary of new people at first and will go to them in his own time. Once he likes you he will usually bring a present such as the tv remote or a shoe. He isn't keen on strangers getting up in his space and coming to pet him if he doesn't know them. He hasn't been around cats much but has seen them outside and isn't too bothered. He has stayed with a friend of his owner for a couple of days with a cat in the house and he was fine. He isn't use to living with other dogs but will play with a dog outside when he is off the lead and able to run around. A home with no kids is a must as he is not use to kids and does not seem to like them. Ralph loves treats and will do anything for a treat. He is use to having treats on walks and when he brings his ball back and drops it he is rewarded with a treat. Ralph loves nothing more than his his ball thrown for him when he is out on a walk. He will destroy softer toys. He is use to having a ball filled with treats in the house which he will happily play with. His owners love Ralph very much however due to a personal change in their life, Ralph would be best with someone who doesn't have any kids and can give him lots of love and attention that he is use too. You won’t believe this. I didn’t. But it is true. In Aarhus, Denmark a 37 year old woman met a migrant in a bar and ended up imprisoned in a flat where she was subjected to a gang rape by three men for 6 hours. One of the men (an Eritrean national) was caught and deported. The other two Eritrean nationals were being actively hunted and Denmark put out an international appeal with their names and photos. The men (Awedin Fikak and Henok Tekleab) fled to France and then took small boats to the UK. They gave their real names and were given food, accommodation and support by the UK government. No checks were done against an international database which would have shown their status as suspected rapists wanted in Denmark. They lived off taxpayer money in the UK for 18 months until it was brought to light that they were wanted criminals. They have now been deported to Denmark to face the justice system. The whole system is farcical. Nobody thought that Eritreans, a nation where 65% of women say they are raped, would be suitable for European integration.
