@scarysouthpaw Most of these are the last straws. Water problems, road issues, inability to get any work done in govt offices without greasing palms, low wages, fighting relatives, aggressive and overbearing housing society rules .... etc etc.

Why do you think Indians have so much pent up rage in them? Small arguments are leading to people being shot or killed or beaten to pulp? Traffic issues, neighbourhood squabbles, dog owners fights and even a minor birthday cake cutting incident. What is the cause for such rage, anger and frustration?

@Ar234Rajaryan @LPI4India We could have started it on 2009 with the US - India nuclear deal. Better to start now at least. Desalination will be useful for industrial and agricultural uses eg. Ethanol, hydrogen, rice, soft drinks etc. This will reduce pressure on drinking water.

@h_thakar @LPI4India Who would get benefits from building desalination plant? Those who live near sea. But most of the Indians live in North, so... Also desalination using solar is very future. If we take thorium plant it would take almost 20 years to get stage 3. So what would we do in 20 years?

@PKurzin I think the whole problem started with the orchestrated "Maidan Revolution". It was unnecessary. Not supporting the invasion but Ukraine (Zelensky) should have convinced Russia (Putin) the he is not Anti Russian. jacobin.com/2022/02/maidan…

This young man was at the regular Tuesday sit-in outside Adiala jail, where Imran Khan is held. He carried this poster with a photograph of Field Marshal Asim Munir saluting Imran Khan, with the caption: "He will always be a leader, You will always remain a servant” He was quickly arrested

India’s emergency number is now 112, but many people still dial 100 out of habit. In an emergency, that confusion can waste precious minutes. Countries like the United States have made 911 second nature. One number, quick response, clear systems. 112 needs recall, reliability and a lot of marketing. Make 112 visible everywhere, as familiar as UPI Ensure faster, more consistent response across cities Integrate it into maps, phones and apps for easy access

@LPI4India Yes. If a Beauracrat can be investigated, penalised and questioned for not following procedure, then ofcourse they will follow the process. Its the Politician who needs to stick their neck out and question the procedures. Inspite of the chance of "Ghotala" allegations.

@AJShreeD He was charged with providing a 9-volt battery for the explosive device to assassination conspirator Sivarasan. Now the question is... did he know what the 9v battery was being used for? It seems a CBI investigator admitted to distorting the confession statement.

🚨🇵🇰 Pakistan soars toward tech sovereignty with fifth satellite in 'Space Vision 2040' push Over the past 16 months, Pakistan has launched five satellites. The country's media announced the fifth and most recent successful launch at the end of last week. All five satellites are designed for Earth observation. Primary uses include: 🔸 Monitoring crops and forecasting agricultural yields 🔸 Assessing soil condition and tracking fertilizer use 🔸 Detecting and controlling unauthorized construction 🔸 Planning transport networks 🔸 Conducting maritime border surveillance and port monitoring 🔸 Supporting geological exploration and mineral detection 🔸 Monitoring water and air pollution Satellite manufacturing: All five satellites were built by Pakistan’s domestic aerospace industry. Four of them are entirely indigenous innovations, while one was developed in collaboration with China. China’s role in the project: All satellites were launched using Chinese carrier rockets China also provided technical support, enabling Pakistan to access advanced space technologies while gradually strengthening its own domestic production capabilities Significance: The deployment of these five advanced satellites is part of Pakistan’s long-term national strategy, known as "Space Vision 2040." The overarching goal is to achieve full technological sovereignty — enabling Pakistan not only to manufacture its own satellites in the future but also to launch them independently from its own soil.

@VedicWisdom1 The story of Ashvasena and Karna's nagastra as revenge for Arjun's murder of all the Khandavana animals and snakes esp Takshaka's wife is a commentary on Development vs Ecology. Something for us to think about. Krishna supported the destruction of the forrest.

All these talks about trees and environment, reminds me of an event from Mahabharata. Krishna and Arjuna destroyed an entire forest (Khandava Vana) to establish the city of Indraprastha (Modern day Delhi).. The forest burned for days. However at that time, global warming and other environmental issues did not exist. We Humans cannot survive without harming nature in some way, we only neednto ensure what is unnecessary and what is required.

On top is Godrej's old logo. Since 1897. Recognized across India. At the bottom is the new, redesigned logo, designed by Disco, Godrej’s in-house design studio. The second image is the logo for Guerrilla Holdings, an Australian company. If incompetence ever needed a logo.
