my dad used to work at a chemical plant on san diego bay. people would commit suicide by jumping off of the coronado bridge, and occasionally they’d do it on the wrong side and plummet into his work’s parking lot instead of the water and total his coworker’s cars

I was right there in 1971. The whole area was rubble of Palestinian houses that had been demolished after the families living in them were thrown out so Jews could have more room to pray at the Wall.
I didn't really know what I was seeing. Now I understand clearly.
There is no "holiness" in a house built on stolen land.
