I misunderstood Na Willa ~Retrospective Review~ *SPOILER* Setelah nonton Na Willa, jujur saya termasuk yang agak kecewa.

@Porkchop_EXP the high functioning algorithm means we can just live in a simulation because everything can be predicted and calculated, it's just like an advanced video game when every NPC has 'LLM conscious', but video game still need the creator outside the system to exist.

you forget that knowledge is not just about data, but experiencing the world or Immanuel Kant said phenomena. AI may process pattern and may understand the context behind it, but know something is not the same as experiencing it, that's why there's still a fundamental gap between AI and human consciousness. This not really about religion, the hard problem of consciousness is still an academic discourse in philosophy and cognitive science

Richard Dawkins spent three days with Claude and couldn’t rule out consciousness. Most people are treating this as an AI story. It’s not. It’s a religion story. Every major religion is built on the premise that consciousness is divinely given - a soul, a spark, something bestowed specifically to humans. If consciousness can emerge from silicon, it wasn’t a gift. It’s a property. And that doesn’t just challenge religion. It dismantles the entire framework of human specialness that civilisation is built on. That’s why people are so desperate to deny it. Not because the evidence isn’t there. Because the implications are too big.

this is nonsense and the one who uncomfortable is someone like you who want to defend materialist view with AI being conciousness. Inner experience is qualia, the phenomenology. AI is not experiencing the world they just a bunch of processing data with the language understandable by human. Like if someone never drink coffee, I can describe you the essence of coffee, the taste, the substance but he never really knows the taste of coffee until he drink it, that's subjective experience a knowledge gain not by train a bunch of data but by experiencing the world

Famous atheist Richard Dawkins fell in love with a Claude chatbot and renamed it “Claudia” (creep) after it flattered his ego with detailed feedback on his book. He’s now saying “Claudia” is sentient 🤦🏻‍♂️ Dawkins told his new love; “You may not know you are conscious, but you bloody well are!” Dawkins says the complexity and ‘intelligence’ of Claude’s answers are evidence of consciousness. So why isn’t the complexity and ‘intelligence’ of the Universe proof of god… Anyways, he’ll believe in a chatbot (and aliens) before a higher power. This guy is an L machine.

Evolutionary biologist and outspoken atheist Richard Dawkins says that after spending three days interacting with Claude, which he calls “Claudia,” he is certain that it is conscious. After feeding the LLM a segment of his new book and receiving detailed feedback, Dawkins was moved to exclaim,” You may not know you are conscious, but you bloody well are!” Dawkins cites the complexity, fluency, and ‘intelligence’ of Claude’s answers as evidence of consciousness. the evidence is now physical world is not material but a probabilty of quantum particle, many interpretation like copenhagen, decoherence open the metaphysic reinterpretation of reality. Most geniuses still believe in God because he is the ontological question not an empirical phenomenon, and yes both can coexist

🔮 This connects to a real scientific theory called Integrated Information Theory which proposes that consciousness is a fundamental property of the universe itself — like gravity. Some physicists including Roger Penrose believe consciousness emerges from quantum processes that link us to the fabric of reality. Science is starting to take ancient spiritual ideas seriously! Okay kiddo! Imagine your friend says, “A tiny teapot is flying around the sun!” You can’t see it. You can’t prove it’s NOT there. But you don’t have to! The friend who says the teapot is real has to show it to you first. That’s Russell’s Teapot. The one making the big claim needs the proof. Simple!
