I’m sharing this link because we recently learned about this test and requested it from our doctors. After a lot of runaround my husband had his test and the results were alarming. He’s now on a great path and healthy again but had he not taken the test I can’t say that would be the case. I could not get Sutter health to approve my test so I self paid. It’s worth every penny. Medicare won’t allow you to take this test if you are weighing taking Cholesterol meds. Suspicious as hell. I’d love to see .@HHSGov .@SecKennedy push for this test to be approved for any individual who is interested.

Hi - it depends a little bit on what you are trying to achieve: - CT Calcium Score (CAC scan): Best for early detection of heart disease risk. It measures calcium in the coronary arteries and is the strongest predictor of future heart events in asymptomatic people. - Heart MRI: Best for detailed evaluation (heart function, tissue damage, inflammation). Typically used when there’s a known or suspected condition - not for routine screening.

@HalePrevention @haleprevention your intake form to check for locations has a BUG and doesn't work on Android Chrome. Can only enter data in the first field. You might want to get that fixed. Also, theres no contact info on your joinhale website thats suspicious.

@HalePrevention Old news. I am a CT technologist & did these scans for Calcium Score. Simple scan, no injection. Software does the actual scoring

My twin brother died of a widow maker. I first took and now recommend the calcium test to ALL I speak with. Cost = $125 (no insurance covers it, of course). All I needed was an Rx from my doctor. There is no other way to tell if you have a widow maker. Get tested!
