My husband and I have been trying to get a UK visa for the longest time. I'm not even exaggerating. Every single time we applied, something would just go wrong. Either rejection, delay, or one random issue that didn't even make sense. It got to a point where I started asking myself... are we even meant to leave this country at all? And the thing is, we were newly married. So everything felt extra important. You know that phase where you're trying to build something real, plan your future, do things properly... that was where we were.
