@axepreneur @armousa7 Facts !!! Simplicity is key as well - people love to overedit for no reason

Just watched this video by @armousa7 and it's fucking true. The editing space is extremely unbalanced. It's not saturated at ALL. Actually, the complete opposite, there are a lot of clients looking for good editors, but they just don't exist. There are very few 'good' editors. The average editor is still trying to learn that new editing style, that new animation trick, BUT no one knows the fundamentals. It's almost impossible to find someone with storytelling & pacing techniques who has good taste. If you think you have these skills, you probably do not. Most editors need to grow up and evolve, leaving behind useless animations and starting to learn the fundamentals. The crazy thing with this post is that most people will say: "Oh yeah, he's talking about the fundamentals, I already know them." No, you don't. Evolve.
