The biggest challenge on cost, of course, is Biden did so awful on it that Trump has to clean up his mess. Thanks to Biden era inflation things just cost way more than people think they should. This is going to be the number one issue next year. Mamdani won on it. Trump can too.

Disagree here. President Trump won on economy, border and crime. He’s fixed, or massively improved, border & crime. Cost of goods is now THE issue for 2026. Mamdani won on cost of goods. Trump is smartly pivoting to address that for 2026. It will decide the midterm elections.
