@MGecko117 Too many extraction die-hards believe that PvE-centric modes simply cannot exist in their games. On the rare occasions where PvE focused modes are implemented and work fine, very few seem to acknowledge that they have an outright beneficial effect on the game.
Give us HARD PvE.

@hallyuwavey In fairness to this point, I’ve seen it go both ways, but there’s definitely a disdain and superiority I see from some Magic players when they get a hint of mention of Yugioh’s existence i don’t see vice versa.
(I play competitive MTG Standard as well, just to be clear)

Every time this comes up the replies always devolve to shitting on yugioh players for having a different baseline of play conduct and it gets so tiring after the sixth or seventh time

Juat found out that in competitive irl yugioh bluffing is illegal?? A player got a 6 month tournament ban for putting tokens off to the side that his deck doesnt actually use in order to trick opponents into believing hes running different cards than he was

@gkamikaze_d In my experience as someone dabbling in writing: style is something that comes with time, you just look back on what you’ve made and you have one. I think you have a style and I like it so 🤷
If you want a different, unique style then yeah you will have to push yourself

@LizardTake @aniypy You’re going to have to define what you see as opti because 7.0 had nearly all nonstardard lines as a loss. 7.1 had the admittedly very janky quadruple transpose tech, then 7.2 went and removed all that. But everything in dawntrail is much less interesting than EW imo

flare star is the worst skill they added in DT. it punishes players for deviating from standard, so (in combine with mp changes) non standard is dead but also skill floor is raised bc some players struggle with casting 6 fire ivs within AF (7.0-7.1) literally worst of both worlds

@MeirnonArt @aniypy Paradox rotation? There were two versions of it, one where the DPS was not comparable (around 10% worse) and it was braindead, one where you had to use brain and it was like 5% worse at which point you can just play properly

@iaArt1 Genuinely amazing series, loved it. Can't wait for it to continue. Honestly, the only criticism I can realistically levy is that at times it felt a little dragging though only marginally. A bit of a shame how we only get glimpses of the unionists. Still, love it a lot, can't wait

Tomahawk puts 5 bodies on the field without a meaningful restriction you would most likely just link a bunch of cards
Not necessarily the most toxic things but definitely harder to balance
