You can actually still parry a sword against another weapon in Halo Campaign Evolved! Also if you get a hit on another player, it actually shows a really cool slash effect across the armor! #Halo

Unfortunately, a lot of the new Campaign Evolved weapon animations are quite poor. We went from Infinite’s animations being quite honestly the peak of the franchise, to these which have regular clipping and odd blocking video from @Generalkidd

@awesomehalofan I have faith that we'll be able to mod the game, and make it the perfect remake we wanted. it is kind of sad that we have to do that in the first place though, halo studios seem to only listen to feedback that they like.

I got valid criticisms for this game, the skin prices and how the interiors look like shit and are just Halo 4 Interiors part 3, but the only complaints I see are for trivial stuff that doesn't affect anything at all

Honestly, I’m starting to get tired of the outrage cycle. Entirely.
I’ve loved every cinematic we’ve seen so far, and pretty much everything Halo Studios has shown has only made me want to play Campaign Evolved even MORE.
The OG Halo fans I’ve seen are excited, the gameplay looks incredible, the atmosphere is there, and the ambition is obvious.
The rest is just noise.

A cinematic artist in the gaming industry gave harsh critiques of this Halo Campaign Evolved cinematic on LinkedIn: “It's hard to believe that this Cinematic for one of gaming's most iconic levels is what Halo Studios is shipping, but it appears to be. From the original 18-second cinematic, which had: -A great establishing shot, showing the scale of the area, reinforcing the rings grand architecture -Sleeping grunts, foreshadowing upcoming ambush gameplay (you're making a game, remember?) -A quick gag of the grunts running scared We now have a bloated 30-second cinematic of: -A more constrained establishing shot. -Doorway framing, a cinematic language of its own not appropriate for a scene like this -Grunts awkwardly... arguing? Standing around? Flailing their arms? What are they even doing? @ChefandArbistor @Generalkidd 'its a prerelease build' yeah, that doesn't mean they're gonna automatically address this issue. we had to convince them to make the forerunner structures somewhat old lol, they weren't gonna do that without us highlighting the issue either
