Insomniac's swinging has programmatic safeguards in place for cinematic flow, directional linearity, minimum elevation from the ground, etc.; Treyarch's had rigid, varying fulcrums and more control at the cost of it being easier to hit the ground or walls and lose momentum, I can see why people prefer one or the other

@danimat37 It doesn't need solving enjoy the system for what it is with all its features or don't play the game, there is nothing wrong with what they did, also you lose momentum for hitting walls so the game does punish you for it

@greekmethd @jcjgraham this a bit at least since you can mess up by hitting the ground and the swing arc is physics driven but it doesn't solve everything because the restrictiveness of their system is ingrained in its design
