NASA generates insane amounts of data and imagery, a shit ton of research for the government, not profit.

@loophorror @avgrocketman @sapphyreblayze 1. SpaceX makes cheaper rockets than NASA. 2. Historically NASA has acted as a vanity project. We went to the moon for vanity reasons. 3. SpaceX makes money. Therefore it is far less of a vanity project than NASA.
