La niña yazidí que pasó años como esclava sexual de Hamás en Gaza Fawzia Amin Sido tenía solo 10 años cuando fue secuestrada por el ISIS en su aldea yazidí en las montañas de Sinjar, al norte de Irak. Fue vendida varias veces en mercados de esclavos sirios y obligada a casarse con un terrorista palestino. Él mataba bebés yazidíes y la obligaba a comérselos. Siendo ella misma una niña, terminó dando a luz a dos hijos. Fawzia tenía solo 10 años cuando fue secuestrada por el ISIS y obligada a casarse con un yihadista palestino. Cuando su secuestrador murió durante la caída del ISIS, fue introducida clandestinamente en Gaza a través de Egipto. Allí, fue obligada a casarse con su hermano, un terrorista de Hamás, y fue esclavizada sexualmente una vez más. Su familia también la torturó y la llamó adoradora del diablo por ser yazidí. Tras el inicio de la guerra de Gaza, su nuevo «esposo» murió en un ataque aéreo israelí. Y la obligaron a trabajar en hospitales atendiendo a terroristas de Hamás heridos. Finalmente, consiguió un teléfono y publicó vídeos en TikTok pidiendo ayuda. Fawzia fue rescatada en una operación conjunta israelí-estadounidense en octubre de 2024, tras más de 10 años de esclavitud. Tuvo que dejar atrás a sus dos hijos porque la familia del terrorista no se los permitió. Fawzia declaró posteriormente que nunca recibió ningún trato amable de ningún gazatí y que la trataron incluso peor que el ISIS. También afirmó que todos los hospitales de Gaza son utilizados como bases militares por Hamás. Activistas propalestinos desestimaron por completo su historia y la acusaron de mentir porque, según ellos, los palestinos «jamás serían capaces de semejante maldad». Fawzia se reunió con su familia en Sinjar tras más de una década de cautiverio.
