Since John Roberts became the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court, American women have been losing their liberty. The Roberts Court has made it increasingly difficult for American women to get the medical care they need, to follow their doctor’s advice to protect their health when they are pregnant and confronted with a heart-wrenching diagnosis like cancer that needs treatment, or when a severe fetal abnormality is detected. Women are dying because John Roberts agreed that states can restrict access to abortion well before a fetus is viable. DEI is a tool of destruction everywhere it’s wielded. It literally leads to death. Diversity is NOT a worthy goal in itself. Effectiveness is. And when you sacrifice effectiveness for diversity, especially within a fire department, police force or military unit, people will die. I’m tired of innocent people’s lives being placed on the altar of equity. Enough.

Many don’t realize that the first people Hitler sent to his concentration camps weren’t everyday Jewish citizens, but his political opponents. So, when Trump rants about retribution, locking up his opponents, and giving them “very long sentences,” I can’t help but take him seriously… because history teaches us that is what fascist dictators do during their “Day One” period to consolidate their power. (After all, if you’re hellbent on staying in power but aren’t likely to win the next election, you can’t have your political opponents running around free.) To keep fascism out of our lives, vote for democracy!
