Yesterday, Dr. Anthony Fauci sat before Congress in a hearing lead by MAGA puppet Marjorie Taylor Greene as she berated and called into question his highly decorated career as one of the nation's leading immunologists. Everything that MAGA is angry with Dr. Fauci about, Donald Trump actually did. Trump's failure to address the Covid outbreak in early 2020 lead to mass deaths, shutdowns, rampant conspiracy theories, and economic catastrophe. Things only changed because we changed presidents. America has one person to blame for Covid's awful effects on our country - Trump. 2. Today marks the 104th anniversary of the 19th Amendment being added to the U.S. Constitution, guaranteeing women the right to vote. Since then, women have continued to rise, reclaiming rights to their finances and health. Still, small angry men like Trump and his MAGA sycophants threaten these freedoms, using the government to launch a full-on attack on womens' rights to make their own decisions about their healthcare. Women earned the right to vote, in November it's time to use it.

Had a long, respectful conversation with a friend last night on the Middle East. He & I have COMPLETELY different positions on who’s to blame & how to fix it. We discovered one central difference. He believes Hamas and the Israeli government are EQUALLY evil. That there is no moral distinction between the two. I strongly disagreed. I told him I believed Hamas, like ISIS, Hitler, & white supremacy, is INHERENTLY evil, whereas the Israeli government, like the United States government, has fucked up, made mistakes, & done horrible things, but our governments are not INHERENTLY evil. Our governments are inherently good, though capable of doing bad things. We couldn’t get past this disagreement, and respectfully ended our talk. Please weigh in: Do you agree with me or my friend on this?

Been having fun making different wraps at home. The first is a Mediterranean wrap with hummus, pickled purple onions, arugula, with balsamic vinegar and tomatoes. The second one is a southwest wrap with black beans, corn, roasted red pepper, arugula and avocado. So easy to make!
