This is one of the delusions of being an elite in office, living in a bubble. You think you are so noble, helping the little people by talking to them and joking with them. You believe you should be praised for these acts, for interacting with them as... humans. No shame enters your heart that these little girls are hawking because their families have so few opportunities for survival. No sense of duty makes you lose sleep at night, thinking of how you can help these families. No humility to kneel before them and report to them how you plan to serve them; accepting you are their servant and are supposed to be working for them, not the other way round.

I will never use my HMO only when I'm sick. My company HR had a session at work with us, they opened our eyes to what we stand to benefit with our HMO plans. The company has spent millions on our HMO. Individual plans, family coverage, everything. Then they said if we don’t use it, that investment is gone. I’ve already signed up for my monthly gym sessions. Done one spa session, one more to go. I completed a massage too, still have another pending. Did dental care, scaling, polishing, even whitening. I’m intentionally going for the ones that actually cost money outside. If they had BBL for men inside the package, I won’t lie, I would have considered it. Na my money oh, I go use am.
TiMoRi@Ogbeni_Mo

Nobody use HMO reach me, both at my current place and previous place of work. I’m the type that walks into the clinic and request for total well being check up…I see the optician and dentist every year 😂😂 Some of you…since you started 9-5, you’ve never gone to the hospital to check even your BP 💀

Absolutely. My friend moved twice within the Nigeria banking sector over 10 years. After becoming a chartered accountant, he moved. After completing his MBA, he moved. At 36, he was heading a strategic department in a top merchant bank with a net pay of 1.8 million. This was 5 years ago. 4 years ago, he relocated abroad with his young family. My brother moved thrice within 12 years of his banking career. He made good connections across several Nigeria banks before he exited. Guys, make hay while the sun shine.

As a young career person, move around. Most times, new hires see up to 30% increase in pay while those doing the same job get around 2-5% raises. Somehow, the system rewards movement.

Dangote wants to raise up to $5 BILLION from Nigerians and global investors. Some people will build wealth from this. Others will lose sleep, rent money… and peace of mind. Same IPO. Completely different outcomes. Aliko Dangote is preparing to list Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals. Valuation? $20B–$50B. Potentially Africa’s largest IPO ever. This is not just big news. This is a once-in-a-decade market event. But let’s slow down the hype. Many Nigerians will rush in when it opens. Not because they understand refining, margins, or valuation… But because: “I don’t want to miss out.” That mindset has ruined more portfolios than bad luck. Let’s be real. Some people will invest: • Their rent • Their emergency fund • Borrowed money Not strategy. Just pressure and vibes. That’s not investing. That’s gambling with better branding. Here’s why this IPO could work: Nigeria imports fuel massively. A local mega refinery changes that equation. If execution is strong: • Huge, consistent demand • FX savings for the country • Potentially strong revenue base That’s a serious long-term story. Also, scale matters. This isn’t a small startup. It’s a massive industrial asset with regional influence. If it operates efficiently and pricing aligns… Cash flow could be very powerful. That’s why global investors are watching closely. But now, the other side nobody wants to hear: Big valuation = high expectations. At $40B–$50B, a lot of future success is already priced in. If performance disappoints even slightly… The stock can punish late entrants. Operational risk is real: • Refinery efficiency must be consistent • Policy changes can affect margins • FX volatility can distort earnings • Pricing politics in Nigeria is unpredictable This is not a “set and forget” play. And here’s the biggest danger: FOMO. People will buy because others are buying. No research. No plan. No exit strategy. When price drops 10–20%… Panic selling begins. Cycle repeats. So what should you actually do? Understand this clearly: This could be the biggest opportunity of the year… Or the biggest crowd mistake. Both can be true at the same time. Simple rules to stay safe: • Don’t invest money you can’t afford to lose • Don’t touch your emergency fund • Don’t borrow to invest • Understand what you’re buying If you can’t explain it simply… don’t buy it. This is not financial advice. It’s a reminder: Wealth is not built by chasing noise. It’s built by discipline, patience, and clarity. So tell me, If this IPO drops tomorrow… Are you investing with strategy… Or just trying not to feel left out?

NIDCOM CHAIRMAN ABIKE DABIRI SAYS NIGERIA IS READY FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman /CEO Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has assured Nigerians and investors in the Diaspora that Nigeria is conducive and ready to welcome all investors to the country as the country has all it takes for investment opportunities. She gave this assurance while delivering a keynote address as Guest Speaker at the prestigious Pre-Africa Diaspora Investment Summit (ADIS26) Partnerships Dinner in Silicon Valley, California, United States of America. The exclusive dinner served as a prelude to the main African Diaspora Investment Symposium 2026 (ADIS26), which took place at Santa Clara University under the theme “Bridging Africa & Silicon Valley: Shaping the Future of Innovation, Investment, and Inclusive Growth.” Dabiri-Erewa highlighted Nigeria’s strategic focus on harnessing the expertise, capital, and networks of its vibrant diaspora to drive national growth, economic diversification, and technological advancement, and highlighted policies put in place by President Bola Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda. She emphasised the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen diaspora engagement and create enabling frameworks for productive investments back home. The NIDCOM boss commended the enthusiasm and collaborative spirit demonstrated by Nigerians in the US, reaffirming the immense potential of the diaspora as a catalyst for growth and development. She, appreciated Almaz Negash, Founder and CEO of the African Diaspora Network (ADN), and the entire organising team for their exceptional leadership in convening the impactful event. Their dedication continues to foster meaningful connections that translate into tangible opportunities for Africa and its diaspora. The same message was reiterated during a working lunch with Nigerian professionals who expressed their enthusiasm to work with NIDCOM to contribute their quota to National development. The two events brought together prominent Nigerians, African, and American leaders, innovators, investors, and policymakers, and created a vibrant platform for meaningful dialogue on diaspora-driven investments, innovation, and sustainable partnerships between Africa and the global tech ecosystem, reflecting a shared commitment to moving beyond remittances toward impactful, long-term investments in Africa’s development.

BREAKING🚨 INTERPOL have arrested Yoel Alter, an 35 year old Israeli who is a member of Lev Tahor, the world’s largest child sex trafficking ring. Over 160 children have been rescued from this Jewish pedophile gang. You might want to ask yourself why the media, politicians and social influencers have buried this story
