Imam al-Tahawi is not athari. al-Imam Abu Ja'far al-Tahawi رضي الله عنه states in his matn "Aqeedah Tahawiyyah" that Allah ﷻ is exalted above having limits, boundaries, limbs, tools and is not bound by the six directions.
