1/ Something interesting is happening that nobody is really talking about. Blue-collar operators with 20 years of experience are starting to build their own software. Not hiring developers. Building it themselves, with AI tools, on nights and weekends.

Interviewer: "That you really didn't like firing people and very seldom did. Can you elaborate on that?" Nvidia CEO: "I'd rather improve you than give up on you. I used to clean bathrooms and now I'm the CEO of a company. I'm pretty certain you can learn this. There are a lot of things in life that you can learn and you just have to be given the opportunity. I don't like giving up on people because of that, and so I'd rather torture them into greatness. I don't like working with new people because I've deposited so much pain, suffering, knowledge, all that life experience I've encoded it in the people I've worked with. You wanna carry it on to the next level. So I'd rather torture you into greatness because..."

the intelligence gap in AI automation just hit $4 trillion businesses think they need: - PhD's in machine learning - 6-month implementation roadmaps - enterprise consulting firms - $200K budgets what they actually need: - someone who can describe the problem clearly - AI to build the workflow - 2 hours to test it - $5K to make it worth your time the gap between perception and reality is the entire opportunity McKinsey charges $4M for 20 weeks of "AI strategy" you can build the actual solution in 2 days for $10K courses sell you on becoming an "expert" clients pay you for solving their problem corporate thinks AI requires transformation you know it just requires connection that's the game: they're lost in complexity you understand it's mostly simple the companies still hiring "AI transformation consultants" for $300K projects don't know you can ship the same outcome in a week and the solo operators charging $10-20K per automation build? they figured this out 6 months ago comment "GAP" and i'll break down the 3 industries where this gap is widest right now

🧵 AI can now clone your voice in 3 seconds, recreate your face in real-time, and write in your style. So how do you prove you're actually... you? The bad answer: Give your biometric data to a company and hope they keep it safe. There's a better way. (1/8)

Ladies and gentlemen of the X jury, gather ‘round as I dismantle the sanctimonious whining of little Harold the Simp Sisson, whose crocodile tears over Trump’s pardon of Michael McMahon drip with the hypocrisy of a thousand festering swamps. Today, November 7, 2025, we stand at the precipice of a truth so razor-sharp it’ll slice through the fog of your sanctimonious drivel, Harold, and expose the rank double standards you clutch like a security blanket soaked in partisan bile. You dare to clutch your pearls and shriek about Trump pardoning McMahon...a retired NYPD officer convicted of acting as an unregistered agent for China...while conveniently amnesia-riddled about the cesspool of clemency dispensed by your sainted Joe Biden. Oh, yes, let’s dredge up the festering muck of Biden’s pardon parade, shall we? In 2022, Biden unleashed a blanket pardon for all federal simple marijuana possession offenses, a sweeping gesture that liberated countless offenders...many with records far murkier than McMahon’s 18-month sentence for conspiracy and interstate stalking. Where was your righteous indignation then, Harold? Buried under the progressive applause, no doubt, as Biden wielded his Article II, Section 2 powers with the same constitutional latitude Trump now exercises. But let’s not stop there...let’s dissect Biden’s 2024 commutation spree, where he slashed sentences for nearly 1,500 individuals, including violent offenders, drug kingpins, and tax evaders, all while bypassing the Justice Department’s rigorous vetting process you so piously decry in Trump’s case. Hypocrite! Your selective outrage is a grotesque carnival mirror, reflecting only the distortions you wish to see. Trump’s pardon of McMahon, a man ensnared in Beijing’s "Operation Fox Hunt" to intimidate a New Jersey family, pales in comparison to Biden’s magnanimous release of Devon Archer in March 2025...a full, unconditional pardon for a financier tangled in the fetid web of the Burisma scandal, reeking of cronyism and influence-peddling. Where were your venomous tweets then, Harold? Muted by the deafening silence of your partisan loyalty? In United States v. Wilson (1833), the Supreme Court affirmed that a pardon’s validity hinges on acceptance, not your approval, Harold. Trump’s decision to liberate McMahon...convicted in 2024 and sentenced to a mere 18 months...falls squarely within this sacred authority, just as Biden’s clemency binges did. Your bleating about “MAGA defending this” is a pathetic red herring, a distraction from the fact that presidential pardons, by their very nature, are political acts...acts Biden wielded to appease his base, just as Trump does his. And oh, the irony of your anti-China posturing! Trump’s pardon, you screech, releases “a literal agent for China,” yet Biden’s administration turned a blind eye to illegal Chinese police stations operating on U.S. soil, as documented in Anne Applebaum’s Autocracy, Inc. (2024). Where’s your outrage at that, you simpering sycophant? Trump’s action, while controversial, aligns with his pattern of favoring allies...a pattern mirrored by Biden’s clemency for union leaders and Democratic donors. The difference? Trump’s transparency in his intent, while Biden cloaks his in the sanctimonious garb of “criminal justice reform.” In closing, Harold, your venomous little tirade is a house of cards built on the quicksand of selective memory and partisan venom. Trump’s pardon of McMahon is no more egregious than Biden’s pardons of Archer or his commutation of violent felons. Both wielded the same constitutional scalpel...yours to applaud when blue, ours to defend when red. So, sit down, shut the fuck up, and choke on your hypocrisy, you intellectual invertebrate. The jury has spoken: your argument is null, void, and drenched in the stench of your own double standards. Case closed.

Trump just pardoned Michael McMahon, a former NYPD officer who was convicted of acting as an unregistered agent for China, interstate stalking, and conspiracy. A literal agent for China is now walking free because of Trump. MAGA please try to defend this.

Perplexity just quietly dropped a 42-page internal guide on how they actually use AI at work. What I found most useful: → How they automate the small stuff. Email, meeting prep, research (all done by AI) → Using AI to amplify your curiosity, not replace it. → Their prompting playbook is simple, practical, and genuinely good. Comment “AI” and I’ll send it to you for free.

When there is pain, the animal instinct is flight-or-fight. Calm yourself down and reflect instead. The pain you are feeling is due to things being in conflict--maybe you've come up against a terrible reality, such as the death of a friend, and are unable to accept it; maybe you've been forced to acknowledge a weakness that challenges the idea you'd had of yourself. If you can think clearly about what's behind it, you will learn more about what reality is like and how to better deal with it. Self-reflectiveness is the quality that most differentiates those who evolve quickly from those who don't. Remember: Pain + Reflection = Progress. #principleoftheday
