@neilDCFC @joeyjojojunior_ @BenGrahamUK I’m sorry as a woman going into a space for changing rooms I expect not to open my locked door to have a man trying on ‘women’s clothes’ with the door open… men that think they are women and a mental disorder sorry but that is a fact!

How hard is it for companies to give women their own private space to get changed without men around? It’s not complicated. If you were born male, use the men’s changing room. If you were born female, use the women’s changing room. Most people see this as basic common sense, not controversial.
Don Keith@RealDonKeith

🚨M&S manager in Colchester boots woman out for asking where the women’s changing room is. Claims gender neutral areas are “completely safe” for women and girls then tells her to leave. Woke corporations erasing single-sex spaces and women’s comfort. Total madness.

@MaggietheCat68 @andrew_lilico But it’s a multi gendered changing room with separate lockable rooms for men and women, so where do they go? And how does the M&S employee fix it instantly?

@hanlemc @andrew_lilico No it's really fucking not ok. Any man, in a dress or not, should not be pushing to be in close proximity with females in intimate situations unless they're a pervert.

It isn't illegal to have unisex facilities, as far as I'm aware. And why would gender-neutral individual changing rooms mean undressing in front of a man?
Abouterf@Abouterf197543

Colchester @marksandspencer I asked where the women’s changing room was to try on swimwear. Manager Andrew (he/ his /him) says gender neutral changing areas are “completely safe” for women and girls. For asking him this question, he told me to leave the store. @SexMattersOrg

@lastparticle @WuTang_Krang @andrew_lilico How is that the same? If you go to the women’s changing room, you know for a fact that you have 100% chance of finding a woman behind the curtain. If you go to mixed, there is never a 100% chance you will find a woman behind the door.

@andrew_lilico I don't want to be in close proximity to a man when I'm either using a loo or changing. I just don’t want them near me. They stare. They leer. If you've been stared at by horrible old men since you were 12 you might feel this way!!

@Woman_AHF @DalriadaTemple @Abouterf197543 @marksandspencer @SexMattersOrg So support, not actually prove that it’s illegal? This isn’t making sense, please can you just provide a screenshot of the exact section of the equality act you’re talking about since you know this. A tweet from one of the accounts you mentioned would also help.

@Woman_AHF @DalriadaTemple @Abouterf197543 @marksandspencer @SexMattersOrg So I’ve just read through Equality Act Schedule 3 Part 7 Single Sex Services and it doesn’t actually mandate M&S to have them. So I’m asking again, can you point me towards the section in which it says M&S is knowingly and repeatedly breaking the law? Show me and I’ll believe you

@Woman_AHF @DalriadaTemple @Abouterf197543 @marksandspencer @SexMattersOrg I’m asking you to point me in the direction, because I have looked and cannot find them. I have found where it says businesses are not legally required to provide single sex changing rooms and if they are multi gendered they must adhere by certain rules. So, can you help me?
