I know no such thing. This behaviour from Battley is obvious sexual harassment, just as the behaviour I discuss was, back in the 80's. It has the obviously forseeable effect of making female students feel intimidated, humiliated, uncomfortable, diminished, and reduced. Which was exactly how C and the other female students felt. It's not 'looking a bit unusual', just as the 80's behaviour was not just 'being friendly and informal.' In the eighties, female students were told just to 'ignore' it, not to take 'things the wrong way.' You are repeating that arrant, entitled, chauvinism. In describing it thus, you are minimizing it and excusing it. But that excusal is laughable, as anyone reading this exchange can see. You play precisely the same role as the male chauvinists in the 80s who told women to turn a blind eye.
Perhaps I shouldn't be too surprised, since your party has become one of the main institutional apologists for, and purveyors of, obvious misogyny in British political life, from your leader downwards. I'm going to block you now, because there's quite enough male chauvinism about here without me having to watch you add to it.

@Gaynotqueer1 No one expects for him to wear make up, it's absolutely normal for a guy not to have any.

@DudespostingWs I admit without shame that I am a woman who swoons when beholding a knight, a man of honor, and a man on a quest. It is so powerfully masculine. I envy the men's ease as they fall into instant camaraderie like this.

@KinaMagica @HumansNoContext There are plenty of examples of siblings raised by the same parents but acting very differently in society.

@HumansNoContext No, they are taught to be this way.

Our London Marathon choir of 10 is now a choir of two - thanks to Scope's actions.
If you enjoying singing and can be in south east London tomorrow morning, please get in touch.
Ironically (some might say) we are an inclusive group. No previous choir experience needed. All the songs are well known and we provide lyric books (so you don't need to be able to read music). We're a 'pop up' choir - so are well used to singers rocking up and joining us on the day.
If you enjoy singing in the shower/car you're in. No politics - just fun, singing and encouraging the runners.
