Language has the power to bring people together. If elected officials in particular start or continue learning Spanish, it could help them form deeper connections with those they serve. Even un poco español can go a long way. ¡Duo está contigo! 💪💚

¿Por qué? With over 41 million native speakers in the US, Spanish is the 2nd most common language in the country. Most of us have heard politicians speak a few words of Spanish while campaigning, but then stop or slow down once in office.
