"If the British government is going to be completely dominated by the bond market, MPs might as well go home." Diane Abbott told Cathy Newman on Sky News that whoever replaces Keir Starmer as prime minister must go through a "properly organised selection process", regardless of any "hissy fit" made by the bond markets. When this provoked laughter from Newman and eye rolling from former Conservative cabinet minister Gillian Keegan, @HackneyAbbott argued that there's no point in having a parliament if the financial sector always has the final word.

Good news! My brilliant lawyer Maureen Donkor has informed me that our bail variation application has been accepted. I am no longer under house curfew. I do not have to sleep at home. I can travel. I am also allowed more than one social media account. All praise be to God.

I am a doctor. A Palestinian. A British citizen. These are my bail conditions—for tweets: 1. One phone. One laptop. 2. No deleting history. 3. Police can inspect devices anytime. 4. One social media account. 5. A home curfew. My legal team has challenged these restrictions.

Sorry but I can't take seriously any critique of Keir Starmer that doesn't start with his role in facilitating Israel's genocide. Sure he failed this country in every way but his willingness to facilitate genocide on behalf of another country shows he failed humanity as a whole.

Is Iran still on its knees begging Trump for a deal, offering everything he wants in exchange for nothing, because they have no military capabilities left? This is what Trump has been claiming for 2 1/2 months, so maybe he will be generous and finally let them surrender?

There are 380 trillion viruses in and on the human body, therefore to claim that finding a single one of these is the cause of a disease is an industrial scale scientific fraud that Kary Mullis, the Nobel Prize & inventor of the PCR process itself, himself called out as a misuse of his invention. So why is this process being mis-sold as a diagnostic "test" for an alleged hemorrhagic fever allegedly but not demonstrably caused by Hantavirus? Aren't the symptoms the important thing, not the fake "testing" process? They certainly were before the invention of the PCR molecular amplification process.

KARY MULLIS: NOBEL PRIZE IN CHEMISTRY & inventor of the PCR process being sold as a "Hantavirus test": "If they could find this virus in you at all, and with PCR, if you do it well, you can find almost anything in anybody... ...because if you can amplify one single molecule up to something which you can really measure, which PCR can do then there's very few molecules that you don't have at least a single one in your body: so that can be thought as a misuse to claim that is meaningful." There are 380 trillion viruses in and on the human body, to claim that finding a single one is the cause of a disease is an industrial scale scientific fraud that Kary Mullis, the inventor of the PCR process itself, called out as a misuse of his invention. So why is this process being mis-sold as a disgnostic "test"?
