i was playing volleyball in Dolores today in a banana costume (as one does) and some guy approached us and asked us why we were wearing a banana costume (for the vibes dude duh). anyway that guy turned out to be my college freshman dorm neighbor who I hadn’t seen in 4 years. and they were having a picnic right next to us with like 10 other people who went to the same school as me and haven’t seen in like 4+ years lol and funny enough if I hadn’t been wearing a banana costume, they probably would never have approached, I would not have realized they were there, and we both would have gone on with our days without realizing we were right next to each other
