BREAKING: Matt Damon and Ben Affleck threaten Donald Trump, put him on notice that he must stop using the audio from their movies in order to promote his campaign and fundraise money or else they will take serious action. It all started shortly after Trump was slapped with a federal indictment for violating the Espionage Act, when Trump posted a campaign video on TruthSocial in which he played the victim and begged for donations from his gullible followers. The problem is that Trump used audio in the video from one of Affleck and Damon’s movies titled Air, a biographical drama starting Michael Jordan. Affleck and Damon’s studio just released this public statement calling out Trump and sending him a thinly-veiled threat that that they will take legal action if he does it again: “We had no foreknowledge of, did not consent to and do not endorse or approve any footage or audio from Air being repurposed by the Trump campaign as a political advertisement. I grew up in politics. It is sometimes a rough business. Until Trump all of our former Presidents got along. I distinctly remember Pres. Bush when he lost to Clinton welcoming Chelsea Clinton to the White House. By saying "welcome to your new home" and hugging her. Trump has destroyed this with his rude attitude and fight over the 2020 election. Now all former Presidents are enemies. At least enemies to Trump. This lack of civility is a big part of the debt ceiling negotiations. The GOP does not even think Joe Biden has a right to life. Why deal with him? I’m so livid. I just watched Kevin McCarthy walk into one of Washington D.C’s fanciest restaurants with his secret service and his entourage to enjoy his dinner. No I’m not saying where. At the same exact time McCarthy and Republicans are holding our entire country’s economy hostage. Any why? Why the fuck are they doing it? So they can force extreme cuts to the part of the budget that funds nutrition for newborns and pregnant moms, cancer research, and grants for clean drinking water. It’s not McCarthy who would suffer in a debt crisis and it’s not his rich buddies either. It would be YOU. It would be everyone who relies on Social Security to pay rent and afford food. Just those disruptions alone would have enormous economic and health consequences over time. To Republicans, what the fuck are you doing? BREAKING: Donald Trump defies the explicit orders of the judge in his civil rape case and attacks his alleged victim E Jean Carroll despite being told not to do so. "I have to go back for a woman that made a false accusation about me, and I have a judge who is extremely hostile," Trump said of the case. Disgustingly, Trump then claimed that it's a "disgrace" that someone like Caroll is allowed to make "false accusations" against him because he's a "rich guy" and is in fact a "famous, rich and political person.” It should go without saying but money, fame, and political influence should not shield a man from credible accusations of rape even if this vile idea is one of the central tenets of the Republican Party. The judge is likely going to be absolutely furious about the remarks because he previously shredded Trump's smears of Caroll as "entirely inappropriate" and said they seemed aimed at influencing the jury.
